Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of daily production tasks, which can be physically demanding and require great attention to detail.
  • Learn and follow the company’s food safety plan and complete the required trainings to comply with the company’s food handling policies.
  • Maintain products through regular quality assurance / quality control procedures to ensure the highest quality output at all stages of production.
  • Maintain great communication with supervisors and fellow team members.
  • Accurately input data into our database and fill out any necessary daily task logs.
  • Follow good manufacturing processes (GMPs), good agricultural processes (GAPs), company food safety policy and standard operating procedures (SOP*s.)
  • Participate in ensuring cleanliness and sanitization of all food secure locations and processing areas within the facility.
  • Adhere to all facility and equipment safety measures to always ensure personal and others* safety.
  • Participate in training in all relevant tasks performed within the facility.

Qualifications:

  • Experience within a manufacturing or agricultural environment is preferable.
  • An interest in sustainability and food production.
  • Must be able to understand and speak basic English.
  • Ability to perform physical and repetitive tasks.
  • Willingness to work early morning or late-night shifts or weekends as required
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 25 Kilograms.
  • Ability to work on ladders, lean down into low spaces, reach into tight areas.
  • Willingness to take direction and be a team player.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Takes pride in your work and has a positive attitude while taking on difficult tasks.
