Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables.
  • Present menus and suggest menu items, specials, and beverages.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
  • Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.
  • Serve food and drinks to guests and ensure their satisfaction with each course.
  • Check in with guests periodically to anticipate needs and address any concerns.
  • Clear tables and reset them for the next guests.
  • Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and workstations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and serving.
